If I'm understanding correctly you're wanting to know if the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Carrier Setup w/ Start Capacitor - 15,000 Btu - White # ACCAR150 you were looking at is going to work with the remote from your old Carrier Air system. The remote from your old system should send a signal to the air distribution box and communicate to the controller to turn the rooftop unit on/off. Since you'll only be replacing the rooftop unit and not the air distribution box your remote will still work.
