The Advent Air RV Air Conditioner - 15,000 Btu - White # ACM150 is designed to just replace the outside part of the AC system and utilize the old system components like the air distribution box, ducts, and thermostat. It is directly compatible with Coleman Mach or Carrier setups if used with an adapter wiring kit ( # ACCOLKIT or # ACCARKIT ) which are sold separately. It is directly compatible with Dometic systems without needing an adapter wiring kit.
If you want a system that has the air box as well, you will then use the Air Distribution Box w/ Built-In Thermostat for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners - White # ACDB for a built in thermostat. If you want a wall mounted thermostat then you will instead use the Air Distribution Box w/ Wall-Mounted Thermostat for Advent Air RV Air Conditioners - White # ACRG15.
You have the option of utilizing the components you have or replacing them if desired.
