Parts Needed To Install 7-way and Brake Controller In 2012 Ford E-250 without Factory Trailer Wiring
Question:
I have a 2012 Ford E250 van that I need to install a class 5, 7-pole wiring, and a trailer brake controller. It does not have any factory wiring. What do I need? Thanks.

Since you have no factory wiring installed on your 2012 Ford E-250 Van you'll need the following parts:
4-way Connector # C56020
7-way Connector # ETBC7
The 4-way will plug into your taillights, and plug into the # ETBC7. For the # ETBC7 you'll just need to run the power wire to the battery with the included circuit breakers, and run the brake output wire to your trailer brake controller.
For a trailer brake controller I recommend going with the Tekonsha Brake-EVN # TK63VR. It's the best bang for the buck brake controller we have in my opinion as you get the same proprtional braking as the higher dollar controllers, but really all you're missing is the built in troubleshooting.
I included a video of the wiring above being installed on a 2012 Ford Van, and a video of the brake controller for you to check out as well.
