Can I Install the Replacement Solenoid Valve for Dexter Brake Actuators Closer to the Axle?

The reverse solenoid on my trailer is inline near the 1st axle. Can the T4748800 be installed in line? If not, can I just disconnect the power to the old solenoid and leave it in place?

Yes, the Replacement Solenoid Valve for Dexter Brake Actuators with Reverse Lockouts item # T4748800 can be installed in line closer to your axles. The only concern would be installing it before the lines T off.
