Can You Reuse A Demco Stay-In-Play Duo From A Jeep Wrangler In A Ford Bronco

Question:

I am moving a roadmaster RM-676 Nighthawk system and a Demco stay-n-play DUO brake system from a 2017 Wrangler Sport to a 2022 Bronco Black Diamond not a Sport model, I just ordered baseplates, 88400 brake light relay kit, RM-790 and RM-792 diodes. I can re-use the Demco equipment and break-away switch and wiring. Is there anything I have overlooked that I may need? I seem to remember Demco had a kit with misc materials for moving the DUO system from one vehicle to another, but I didnt find in on your site. Am I correct? Regards

The diodes required for your 2022 Ford Bronco will depend on whether or not you have variable voltage lighting. For LED's you'd need to use part # RO54FR and for Incandescent bulbs you'll need part # RO34FR. If you wanted to get them as a kit including the 4-pole wiring and 7-to-6 pin cable then you'd want part # RM26FR for Incandescent and part # RM38FR for LED's. If you do not have variable voltage wiring then you'll be able to use the standard diodes that you ordered.

For the Brake Light Relay # RM-88400, the brake light switch wire you'll connect to is purple.

To re-use your Domco Stay-In-Play Duo # SM99251 you'll just need the reinstall kit # SM6270 to swap it to the Bronco.

Since you have the tow bar, baseplate, diode wiring, and braking system the only other thing you'll need is some safety cables, like # RM-643, if yours aren't in working order anymore.
