Why Do the Turn Signals Flash On the Toad with the Brakes Applied in the Motorhome

Question:

Installed the above wiring system to my 2017 Nissan Frontier, rear lights/directionals work as they should after installation, however when I connect the Nissan to my motorcoach the yellow directional lights illuminate not the red brake lights, any thoughts? Thank you

There are a few different ways that the Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit part # RM-15267 can be installed which will vary based on if the motorhome has a separate or combined lighting system and if the vehicle has a separate or combined lighting system. The 2017 Nissan Frontier has a separate lighting system therefore, I have attached two diagrams for you. There is a diagram if your motorhome has a separate lighting system and there is a diagram if your motorhome has a combined lighting system. I recommend that you check each of your wires to ensure they are ran to the proper locations. It sounds like you may have got a few crossed or routed to the incorrect circuits.
