Yes, your 1998 Chevy Tracker with a manual transmission can be flat towed. You will need the following parts tow bar, safety cables, base plate kit, wiring harness, supplemental braking system, and potentially a high low adapter.

I have listed everything you will need below along with any installation videos we may have. There are two different options for base plate kits depending on whether or not your Tracker has two or four doors and you will also need an adapter.

Tow Bar and Safety Chains - Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar item # RM-520 and item # RM-643

Base Plate Kit - 4 - Door - Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit item # 1007-2
2 - Door - Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit - Fixed Arms item # 118-8

Since the available base plates are all crossbar style you will need the Quick Disconnect Crossbar Assembly for Roadmaster Motorhome Mounted Tow Bars item # 910021-00

Wiring Harness - Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit item # RM-15267

Supplemental Braking System - Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System item # HM39524

High Low Adapter - The tow bar needs to be within 3" of level. If you measure the height of the inside top of the hitch receiver tube on your RV, and the height difference is more than 3 inches above/below the base plate tab height, you'll need a high/low adapter. I have linked a FAQ article that explains all this in more detail along with our selection of adapters.
