Will Dexter Heavy-Duty Suspension Work on 14,000 lb Trailer  

Question:

Have a 2004 14k 18 ft bumper pull flat bed i put a steel deck on trailer express manufacturer. 3 axel tube, 1/2 x 7 ubolts 1 3/4 wide springs Spring center 25 3 straps 2.5 x 7.5- 8 torsion bone 6 lug rims Was looking at a heavier duty kit to replace my existing like K71-359-00. Will this kit work for 14k ? Can I use 9/16 ubolts ? looking for heavier ubolt to spring plate also,mine are all bent And would like to replace all the wheel studs 1 axel has brakes,are the studs the same for brake/non brake ? Thanks for the help.

Yes, your 14,000 lb trailer can absolutely use the Dexter Heavy-Duty Suspension Kit for Tandem-Axle Trailers - 1-3/4" Wide Double Eye Springs # K71-359-00.

Then as for replacement U-bolts for your 3 inch round axle you can use U-bolts that are 9/16" diameter such as the U-Bolt Kit for Mounting 5,200-lb to 7,000-lb, Round Trailer Axles - 7-1/16" Long U-Bolts # APUBR-9.

As for the wheel studs, just make sure the measurements of the new wheel studs are the same; I have added a link below to our entire selection of wheel studs for you to check out.
