Can Demco 50 Degree A Frame Coupler Replace an Underslung Coupler

Can I replace my welded bottom coupler with this as a top coupler? If so, does it change the specs in any way?

Yes, you can remove your current underslung coupler and install the Demco 50 Degree A-Frame Coupler part # 12660-97SP in place of it as a top mount without any issues. It would just attach to the top instead of the bottom. Worst case scenario you might need to use a ball mount with less drop.
