How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the replacement crossbar bracket from Swagman for the current and ESPEC models. So this part here is gonna be a direct replacement for the bracket that's included with your bike carrier. So maybe you've had it out on the trail a long time, it's a little bit beat up, or you may have damaged it somehow. This is gonna be the same part you're gonna need to make sure both of your two piece crossbar is gonna be secured to the carrier. As far as replacing it, it's real simple install. Just need a 10 millimeter socket and you have two carriage bolts, two nuts, and two lock washers underneath.

Super easy installation. All you have to do is just loosen the nuts underneath here and it's just two lock washers as well. The carriage bolts are fastened or held in position by the square holes on the top of your bracket. So that's gonna give you the tension and you just take off the old one and install it the same way. Super, super duper easy to get a updated part for your crossbars.
