Troubleshooting An LED Light Strip That Will Only Flash

Typically if an LED light strip like the # DIA86QR is just flashing and not wanting to respond to commands from the remote there's a voltage issue. This light strip is designed to work with both 12v or 110v systems, but since you're having issues I'm assuming you're powering it with 12v DC.
Either way you'll want to check the voltage coming to the strip with a multimeter # PT89ZR to ensure that it's either getting 12v DC or 110v AC to properly function. If not, then you'll need to determine if the power source is the issue or if the wire running to the unit from the power source is allowing a voltage drop.
With this being a closed system, if the power isn't the issue then the controller is. If this is the case then it's most likely defective and would need to be replaced.
