I'd love to get you all set up. To get started, you'll need a base plate kit. This is used as the connection point between the RV and the towed vehicle. For this, I recommend the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM38VR.

This kit is custom to your vehicle which means that there wont be any need for any welding, however there may be some trimming required as well as the removal of tow hooks if they are present. To continue, you're going to need a nice set of tow bars that are not only compatible with your vehicle, but can also handle the weight of your truck.

A great option is the Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar w/ LED Lights # RM-676. This tow bar is compatible with the mentioned base plate kit above, has a maximum towing capacity of 8,000-lbs, and has an integrated LED strip for low-light operating conditions.

Continuing on, you're going to need a braking system. To stick with the Roadmaster theme, I recommend going with the Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System # RM-8700, with the Roadmaster Brake-Lite Relay Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-88400 and if your truck does not have adjustable pedals, the Roadmaster Universal Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751000.

This is a one time setup kit that will provide excellent real-time braking in your towed vehicle. This system will connect to your 2017 Jayco Class C and will engage your truck's brakes when the RV brake lights illuminate.

Finally, you're going to need a set of tow bar wiring # RM-154 as well as a charge line kit # RM-156-25. The wiring kit is needed to connect your tow vehicle's brake, turn, and tail lights to your towed vehicle.

I know it's a lot of information and parts, but that is everything you need to get your going. I have also attached a couple of installation videos for you to check out as well.
