Can Air Bags for a 2013 Toyota Tacoma Lower Ride Height
Question:
Im considering an air bag suspension for a pickup or suv based tow vehicle. I have not determined which vehicle yet... I use a wheelchair and while I have been getting in and out of my 2013 Tacoma for ten years, I am thinking of increasing my towing capacity with a man truck. My thinking is I can get an air bag suspension which I can lower the suspension to get in and out, and then raise to have factory ride height for towing. Just thought I would start with eTrailer as you have been great and very helpful with inquiries etc. Do you have any products you would recommend? Thx,

I do have options for you but none of our suspension enhancements are designed to raise or lower the height of the vehicle. They are instead however designed to bring the ride height back to factory with a load to prevent decreases in performance. In order to lower the ride height and raise it back up, this would require a very sophisticated suspension which is not something we can offer.
The best option we have for extra support while towing or hauling would be a set of air bags which will get you back to the factory ride height or close while towing or loaded. The correct ones for a 2013 Toyota Tacoma for example is the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs part # F2407.
