Where to Red and Yellow Wires Run with Firestone Compressor Kit F2610 Very confusing here regar
Question:
2022 Silverado 3500HD Very confusing here regarding the yellow wire, some say use others say don’t. If we don’t use the yellow wire can the red wire be hooked to the fuse panel on an ignition circuit that comes on with the switch rather than hooking the red wire to the battery? Thank you,

The correct wiring of the yellow and red wires of the Firestone compressor kit part # F2610 is to run the red wire to the battery which is where the compressor draws it's amperage from and the yellow wire to ignition circuit as the circuit to tell the compressor the vehicle is on. If you run the red wire to an ignition power source most likely it will overdraw and blow a fuse since the compressor draws a decent amount of amperage.
