Can 4 Bikes Be Loaded Onto The Thule SquareBar Crossbars On A 2018 Subaru Forester?

Question:

I have a set of INFR feet that I purchased from etrailer.com that I use with my old square Thule bars on my 2018 Subaru Forester with raised front-to-back rails. The system has been amazing for the last 6 months with 3 bikes mounts all between the towers, but by sliding the bars over a bit, I have created enough overhang to allow me to mount a 4th bike outside of the INFR towers. Neither Thule nor Yakima mention any restriction on doing this, but I wondered if anything about the INFR towers would make this problematic. What is your advice on this?

I can't personally see anything wrong with doing that, however the only thing I can think of that you'd need to be aware of is the total weight being loaded.

As long as your bikes are not exceeding the maximum weight capacity of your crossbars, and you have enough room there should not be an issue.
