How To Choose The Correct Trailer Hitch For Your 2017 Georgetown 369XL Class A Motorhome
Question:
I have a 2017 Georgetown 369XL class a. It is on a 2016 f53 chassis with a ford v10. I’m towing a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee that weighs in at right at 5000lbs empty and I have a 5000lb hitch that I would like to upgrade to a class 4 hitch. What do you recommend

Motorhome hitches, especially when going higher than 5,000lbs, will typically be a universal/adjustable fit and require welding to install. You'll need to know the distance between the frame rails of your motorhome's chassis so that you can ensure that you get the correct size. You'll also need to measure for how much drop you'll need to clear the rear fascia.
For example, the Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Service Body Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41990-16 has a 44" cross tube with adjustable brackets that can slide on the cross tube to fit the frame. The brackets have a 16" drop so that the receiver tube can clear the fascia.
There are other options available with different width and drop fitments so I'll need to know those measurements to get you the correct fitting trailer hitch for your 2017 Georgetown 369XL.
The Draw-Tite Ultra Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 41936 you were looking at is a custom-fit hitch that hasn't been confirmed to fit your motorhome so I can't recommend it for your motorhome.
