Is Installation of etrailer Hitch the Same as Curt Hitch for 2023 Subaru Outback

Question:

Is the installation process for the etrailer hitch the same as the Curt hitch for a 2023 Outback? Looks like they're about the same thing.

Yes, the installation process as well as the design of the hitch is identical for the 2023 Subaru Outback. The only difference between the Curt # C67JR and etrailer # e25TR is the finish. The Curt hitch has a glossy finish while the etrailer hitch has a matte black powder coat finish. The matte black gives it more of an OEM look. It also does a better job hiding dirt and scratches. It is for that reason that I would recommend the etrailer hitch over the Curt with the glossy finish.
