Parts Recommendation for 7-Way and Brake Controller 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee with 4-Way
Question:
Need trailer brake controller: I already have a 4 pin flat connector out back. This includes a 10AWG wire going right to the battery. I am now building a trailer and will need to convert over to 5 pin or whatever is needed/best. Please hook me up with the easiest to install set up, price being secondary. Is there a trailer controller connector by the E-brake? Im thinking not but hope there is. Thanks

You will need to convert your 4-way to a 7-way on your 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee and the best kit to do that with is the part # ETBC7 which also comes with everything needed to install a brake controller. While we don't have an etrailer brake controller our most recommended and favorite controller is the Tekonsha P2 part # 90885 which would work really well for you so it would be what I recommend.
On the trailer side you will want to have a 7-way installed which for that the junction box part # HS381-9000 would be the way to go. For wiring to the brake assemblies you'd need 10 gauge wire as well which we offer by the foot with # 10-1-1.
