We do have tandem axle suspension kits, leaf springs and u-bolts to convert a single axle trailer to a tandem axle trailer, but the conversion will be a little more involved than just adding a second axle. To ensure you purchase the correct parts, you will want to look at your current axle and suspension. You will need to know the axle weight capacity, axle diameter and leaf spring dimensions to choose the correct suspension parts for a tandem axle trailer. I have attached a link to all of our tandem axle suspension kits for you to check out.

These kits include spring hangers, shackle bolts, shackle straps and equalizers. You will also need a set of leaf springs that are rated for your axles, u-bolts and u-bolt plates. I have attached links to these as well. Choosing the correct leaf springs and u-bolts will depend on the weight capacity of your axles and the size of your current leaf springs.

If you can tell me the weight capacity of your axles, the diameter of your axles, the width and length of your current leaf springs (without a load on them) and the type of leaf springs (slipper or double-eye). I will be happy to give you more specific part recommendations

I have also attached a chart that explains how to determine the axle location for a proper trailer tongue weight. One of the axles will have to be moved forward of the current axle position and the second axle placed behind the front axle. The leaf spring hangers that are currently on your trailer will have to be cut off because the hanger spacing will changed depending on the suspension kit you purchase.
