Recommended Baseplate For A 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK With A Blue Ox Tow Bar

Can you give me the part number for the correct base plate for a 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK? I have a Blue Ox Aventa II tow bar. Also the p/n for a set of safety chains of the coated wire type? I seem to have only found actual link chains when looking on your site. Thanks!

For your 2018 Jeep Wrangler JK and Blue Ox Aventa II tow bar you'll need the Blue Ox Base Plate Kit # BX1134. To go along with your tow bar I recommend the RoadMaster 68" Safety Cables # RM-643. The coiled design of these cables will help prevent them from dragging on the ground and being damaged.

If you don't have the rest of your flat tow setup then I have the following recommendations:

Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Diode 7-Wire to 6-Wire Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit # RM-15267. This diode kit is a one time install that will transfer the brake and turn signals from your motorhome through the tail lights of your Wrangler.

Braking System: If your motorhome has air brakes then I recommend the Demco Air Force One Supplemental Braking System w/ Wireless Coachlink # DM26VR.

If it has hydraulic brakes then you'll need the Demco Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System w/ Wireless Coachlink Monitor # DM86VR.

Both of these systems are permanent installations that will require no setup after so you can hook up and go without any extra work.
