Since your 2020 Silverado 2500 has the Custom Underbed Installation Kit item # BWGNRK1020-5W you can easily add a B&W Companion 5th wheel hitch. Because you have the shorter 6-3/4' bed I recommend the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider item # BWRVK3400-5W. The Companion Slider has a 20,000 lbs capacity and will give you 12" of travel for making tight turns and backing.

The Companion's 1" thick dual jaws will give you a 360-degree jaw to kingpin contact. This system minimizes the chucking, jarring and noise that can occur when towing a fifth wheel trailer. This not only provides a more secure connection but also a quieter more comfortable towing experience.

The Companion also has a cam-action latching handle that helps you to uncouple your trailer even if the terrain isn't level. The fully articulating head also helps to improve your ride quality while easing the effort put into hooking up to your trailer.

The B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch item # BWRVK3400-5W weighs 277 lbs and is made in the USA.

I have linked an installation and review video along with a picture that will show you what the Companion Slider looks like installed. This is the only Companion hitch I can recommend for your truck. You can not use a rotating pin box with the turnover ball system so the standard Item # BWRVK3500-5W 5th wheel hitch will not work.

Don't forget your lube plate. The Lube Plate for 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches - 10" Diameter item # 16721 will prevent scratches on your fifth-wheel's skid plate and ease trailer hookup.
