Does the Curt Trailer Hitch C67JR Require Trimming on a 2023 Subaru Outback Wagon?
Question:
Do I have to trim to install the Curt item # C67JR on my 2023 Subaru Outback?

Yes, there is a small section completely underneath your Outback, which is completely unnoticeable unless your lying underneath the car, that needs to be trimmed. I attached a photo below from the linked installation instructions that will show you the cuts needed. I have also attached a picture looking up from below with this hitch installed.
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C67JR is confirmed to fit your 2023 Subaru Outback Wagon. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Subaru with included hardware.
I really like this hitch because it mounts behind your rear bumper cover leaving only the 2" x 2" receiver visible.
The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver item # C67JR is made in the USA. It is a class III hitch, with a 2" receiver, and it weighs 30 lbs. It has a 3,500 lbs towing capacity, and a 350 lbs maximum tongue weight.
I have linked a couple of pictures below along with an installation video so you can see what this hitch looks like when installed.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # 118467 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
