Can B&W Companion Hitch # BWRVK3710 Be Installed On A 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Short Bed

I just purchased a new 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 short bed with factory pucks. I am interested in a 5th wheel hitch but I would like a non slider hitch. Can I use a B&W Companion hitch even though I have a short bed truck? Please advice.

When installing a 5th wheel hitch into your 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 Short Bed with factory pucks, it is not necessary for a slider hitch to be installed. A fixed hitch like The B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3710 will work just fine for you in your 2023 Chevy Short Bed. The puck spacing is the same between the short bed and the long bed so The Companion hitch will work perfect for you.
I like the B&W Companion hitch over the other hitches we sell because it is constructed to ensure you have the best possible ride. It has 1 inch thick dual jaws that provide a 360-degree jaw to king pin contact. It also has cushioned bushings and a pivoting head, all which will combine to give you the most comfortable and quiet towing experience. The only thing you will have to be careful about is the potential turning clearance issues that you may have, unless you have a rotating pin box. I also recommend installing The Demco 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness # DM8555002. This harness will simplify the hookup of your 5th-wheel trailer. The harness will plug into the existing wiring and will retain the use of the factory 7-pole at the bumper. I like this harness over the others because it has a 90 degree connector that will fit into tight spaces if necessary. Another useful add-on would be the B&W 5th Wheel Lifting Device for Companion # BWRVXA3130.This heavy-duty steel tool will allow you to lift your B&W 5th-wheel hitch from your truck bed with a hoist.

Both installations will be the same for your 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500.
