I took a look at the Greystone RV Curved Electric Fireplace with Logs GR54FR you have and I wasn't able to find any information for this particular issue you're having, however I do have a couple of suggestions you can try before considering a replacement as your current fireplace has been discontinued.

What you can first try to do is clean the fan/heater unit of debris and build up. This may be the reason why your heat is starting and stopping constantly because it's possibly clogged up.

If your fan/heater is clean and not clogged up I recommend trying to hard reset the unit. To do this you will just need to turn all the controls off to the appliance and allow to cool for at least 10 minutes.

After about 10 minutes restore power to the unit and check to see if the issue persists.

If the issue continues, then I recommend reaching out to Greystone and see if the fireplace is under warranty so you can have it replaced, otherwise you can replace the unit with the:

-Greystone 26" Electric Fireplace with Crystals - Recessed Mount # 324-000068.

This unit measures 28-3/8" wide x 21-3/8" tall x 5 1-2" deep, has a cutout of 26-1/4" wide x 20-1/2" tall x 5-3/8" deep, and has an LED flame with 4 color settings.
