Brakes and Hubs For 6,000LB Axles Using Open 5 Spoke Utility Wheels on a Equipment Trailer
Question:
I have an equipment trailer that has 8-14.5 size tires, open rim donut they are 6,000 lb brakes. I dont see where you offer this. The only brakes I see listed online are for a house trailer temporary brakes. Do you carry brakes for my trailer? 12 inch 5 lug 6,000 lb electric trailer brakes for open rim

It sounds like your trailer has the Dexter Trailer Hub and Drum Assembly # 8-174-5UC3 with the 5 lug utility bolt pattern. This hub will use the Dexter Electric Brake Kit # 23-105-106-09 which can bolt to either a 4 bolt AL-KO brake flange or the 5 bolt standard bolt flange used on Dexter and Lippert axles. If you have something different please send me measurements and images of your parts.
