What is Minimum Height Setting for Reese M5 Hitch that Fits 2023 Chevy Silverado OEM Pucks

Answering question: Can I Switch Legs On Reese Elite For Ford Puck System To Fit GM Factory Puck Systeminch you said that The M5 hitch head adjusts 2 inches higher than the Elite head. In my case, I am more interested in the lowest possible position of Reese M5 hitch. I own Reese Elite 18K which I have to use at min. height position because I have Sindwinder Airborne pinbox on my 5th wheel. MY question: Is min. height position of M5 20K same like or lower Elite 18K? I am asking because I will be switching trucks from Ford to GM and Reese doesnt make under box sub frame for Reese Elite and 2023 GM trucks, so I will have to purchase Reese M5, since the legs only kit for M5 will not fit Reese Elite.

The minimum height that the Reese M5 fifth wheel hitch part # RP26FR can be set at is 14 inches. The max height is 18 inches. This hitch is the correct fit for your 2023 Chevy Silverado 3500 that has the OEM prep package. We don't have an Elite hitch that fits your rails but they generally sat up a little higher.
