No LED Lights on Brake Controller
Question:
just drove 150 miles to pick up a brand new 2023 trail boss. needed them to install a trailer brake. was glad it was a curt spectrum as my 2020 sierra had one. but this one is not lighting up when i touch my brakes, will try hooking it up to my trailer later. did the dealer not install it correctly? do i need to take it back to that dealer?

Thank you very much for your purchase from etrailer.com of the Curt Spectrum Trailer Brake Controller # C51170. We appreciate your business and the order, and the issue with the Spectrum, per the troubleshooting section of the owner's manual, is that it does not have power or it is not grounded properly.
So it seems the dealer did not install it correctly after your purchase from etrailer of the Spectrum brake controller.
