Recommended 7-Way Wiring and Brake Controller for 2023 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
I need to tow a trailer with brakes using my 2023 Wrangler. I don't have any wiring and I need a brake controller. Please recommend parts to make this happen. Thanks!

For wiring and a brake controller on your 2023 Jeep Wrangler I recommend the following parts:
-T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118786
-Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7
-Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED52VR
The T-One wiring harness will provide you with a 4-way. From there, you can use the # ETBC7 to upgrade your 4-way to a 7-way which will allow you to use your brakes and a brake controller.
The Tow-Pro Liberty installs out of sight leaving only the control knob visible in the cab of your vehicle. This gives it a factory look and also means it won't take up additional space. The knob controls the braking power and also acts as the manual override.
