Parts Needed For Adding a Trailer Brake Controller On a 2023 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
For a brake controller, when tapping into the brake light circuit switch, do I tap the “ travel signal” wire, as opposed to either the “feed” or “return” wire ? Thanks

It sounds like you are trying to install a trailer brake controller on a 2023 Jeep Wrangler. The brake light switch on your Jeep is not usable and you will want to use the Roadmaster Stop Light Switch Kit # RM-751490 which will give you a good signal wire for the brake controller. This switch is custom fit and will tap into the vehicle fuse box for power.
For a brake controller I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty # RED52VR with its small dash mounted control knob. The Universal Mounting Panel # 331-TPSI-001 will help to give the control knob a more factory appearance.
You will also need a 4-Way # 118786 along with the 7-Way Upgrade Kit # ETBC7 if you do not already have these for your Jeep.
