Will Trailer Idler Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles - 2,000 Lbs Work with Old Hubs
Question:
I have a broken axel and am looking at the above item as replacement. Can I use my old hubs and bearings on this new axel. Are shaft diameters standardized? Thanks. John

The Trailer Idler Axle Beam with Easy Grease Spindles part # e48GR uses L44649 inner and outer bearings so as long as your old hubs use these same bearings they will work grease with this axle. If you are replacing the axle with one that has the same weight capacity then yes, you can reuse all your old components such as hubs/drums, idler hubs, or braking assemblies.
