Recommended Parts for Towing a Small Trailer With a 2009 Toyota 4Runner

I have a 09 4Runner what etrailers hitch fit my car thanks need to tow my pop up for the weekends

The correct etrailer trailer hitch for your 2009 Toyota 4Runner is found as the part # e45AR.
To tow your pop up you also need wiring and a ball mount kit. I like the Wiring Kit # C59496 because we've found their wiring to be the most reliable. You'll secure the 4-Way to your crosstube using the brackets # 18140 and # 18144.
Then for a ball mount I really like the B&W Tow & Stow 3-Ball Mount # BWTS10048B because of it's versatility. With all of the adjustments this will very likely be the last ball mount you ever need to purchase! I also recommend protecting your investment with a hitch lock like the InfiniteRule # 34061075-D.
