Recommend Hitch for a 48 Extension on a 2023 Chevy Silverado 3500
Question:
I have a 2023 Chevy Silverado 3500 with an in bed camper. I would like to use a 48" extension to tow my cargo trailer but I do not see one strong enough for my factory hitch. What hitch do I need to use one of the Torklift extensions?

To use the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension 48" Long item # TLE1548 with your 2023 Chevy Silverado 3500 you are going to want the TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver item # TL74FR. This hitch is custom fit and bolts to your Silverado with included hardware.
I really like this hitch because it has both a 2" and 2-1/2" receiver and a large towing capacity of 20,000 lbs without a weight distribution system. The stacked receivers give you multiple options for ball mounts and also allow you to tow a trailer and use a hitch mounted accessory like a bike rack.
The 48" long TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension item # TLE1548 has a maximum gross trailer weight of 6,000 lbs that can increase to 12,000 lbs when used with a weight distribution system.
I also recommend the TorkLift Wiring Harness Extension item # TLW6048. This will extend your Silverado's 7-way connector the 48" length of the extension to connect to your cargo trailer.
I have linked a couple of installation videos below along with a picture of the extension to check out.
