Can I Upgrade 45 Amp Power Control Center with 60 Amp Power Control Center

Question:

So I currently have a 45 amp magnetek, I believe it has 4 breaker spots not currently here to verify how many Your comparable power dynamics converter only has 3 spots for breakers, so I was looking at this model because it has enough breaker spots to fit my needs but it is 60 amp and has 6 breaker spots. Obviously that is more then I need. So I was wondering if it would be of any kind of issue to the campers electrical system to use this larger amp model even though my current one is 45 amp. Bigger is better right??

Technically you can use the 60 Amp Progressive Dynamics RV Power Control Center # PD4560K18LS8 as long as you aren't exceeding the power on any of your other circuits, but you might actually still be able to use the 45 Amp version # PD4045KA for your setup. If you have any breakers that are a tandem setup then the 45 Amp version will be just fine. I'm attaching a photo that a customer submitted where they are 4 breakers installed since one of them is a tandem setup.

Check out the type of breakers your current system uses and let me know what you find so we can work from there.
