Since you plan on towing you will need a hitch, wiring, and a ball mount. Starting with a hitch I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e56YR. This Class III hitch features a bolt-on installation and a matte black powder coat finish. It comes with a lifetime warranty and is made in the USA.
For wiring, you need the Tekonsha # 118761. This has a quick and easy installation and will plug into the connection point under your vehicle. Once installed you'll be ready to power your trailer's signal lights with a 4-way. If you need a 7-way then the next step would be to install the # ETBC7. This comes with an adapter, wiring, and everything else you need to upgrade your connection.
For a ball mount, check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
