Will Thule Hideaway Awning Fit Thule 5200 Rails on 2019 Forest River R Pod 1900
Question:
I need to buy another awning for my camper that had a Thule 5200 awning. the Thule mounting bracket that is on the camper is 113inch inches long. I am concerned the TH 490011 awning will be too long to mount on the bracket. If I screw it close to the ends of the bracket and about 3ft from each end, will that work. Should I buy self-tapping screws with course or fine threads since the housing is aluminum?

The bracket you have from your older Thule awning isn't compatible with any current Thule awnings but the good news is that the Thule HideAway Awning # TH490011 comes with new brackets that you'd use to install it. They are much smaller as well.
