Trailer Hitch For A 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon With A 1.5 Inch Hitch Pin Hole Depth
Question:
Weve got a 2016 Subaru Outback and a Thule Easyfold XT bike rack. Does your model # 76227 have a 1.5 hitch pin hole depth? The OEM Trailer Hitch from Subaru had a 1 pin hole depth, so it wasnt compatible.

I have the perfect trailer hitch that has a 1.5 inch hitch pin hole depth and that is confirmed to fit your 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon!
The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 76227 has a 2-1/2 inch hitch pin hole depth from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closet part of the rack. So your Thule Easyfold XT will work perfect with this hitch.
The hitch has an easy, bolt-on installation with no welding required. It has a black powder coated finish that covers an e-coated base that offers a superior rust protection. The hitch has a maximum tongue weight up to 600 pounds. I would recommend checking your vehicle's manual to find out the proper tongue weight capacity for your 2016 Subaru Outback Wagon.
I attached an installation video link below.
