Can Jensen JWM22 Replace a Jensen AWM965 Stereo

Question:

Can the Jensen JWM22 be used to replace a Jensen AWM965? I know the size is significantly different and so the installation would need to be adjusted. I was planning on adding a Blue Ray player to watch DVDs and Blue Ray discs. I am thinking that I can run the HDMI cable out of the Blue Ray player and into the JWM22 HDMI input to be able to control the speaker volumes through the JWM22 unit. I would then run an HDMI out of the JWM22 to my Jensen JTV3220DC television to carry the video and audio signals to the TV. If I am correct on all of this, one issue I see is that my trailer has 4 interior speakers and 2 speakers under the awning and uses channels A and B but nothing on C currently. It appears that channel A has one set of wire for front speakers and another for rear speakers i.e. 4 pairs on channel A. the JWM22 only appears to have 2 pairs for each of the 2 channels. My question is can I connect both interior left speakers and both interior right speakers to the left pair and right pair, respectively. of wires on the back of the JWM22 unit?

The Jensen Mechless RV Stereo # JWM20 that you mentioned can replace the Jensen AWM965 like you are wanting it to. The dimensions are different so as long as you are willing to work with that it would work just fine. This is a 4 channel stereo though so you could run a total of 4 speakers with wiring directly ran to them or you could run additional speakers to the wiring in use but you would need to keep in mind this affects the OHMs so you'd want to look into what's required when wiring speakers like this (in series) keeping in mind the OHM rating of your speakers.
