Recommended Secured Cover for GFCI Outlets on Side of RV

Question:

How do I keep the cover from flopping around in the wind, while driving down the road. As a conscious driver I want to look in my rear-view mirror and see nothing moving around on the side of my RV while driving. What I see is the cover for part 37205-12215 flapping in the wind. the door springs are not enough to hold the door down. On a dry day this is annoying at the most but on a wet day this spell water intrusion. Any suggestions? Thanks

I see where you're coming from in regards to how aggressive (or lack thereof) the GFCI Outlet Cover # 37205-12215 closes. To put your mind at ease I recommend going all out and using the Valterra Locking Electrical Cable Hatch # A10-2150BKVP instead. This is a bit larger but it comes with sealant, a locking door, and a small access port for your cords so you can keep the door shut and locked when you're plugged into power.

Attached is a review video for you to check out.
