How Does the Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System Work in Shadows

I have an old version of this same camera, at least 5 years or more, that Im replacing. The contrast was way off. On bright days when the hitch is in the shadow, the camera would show everything in the shadow as just black. The ball would be invisible. What will this current camera show in those conditions?

The Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera and Hitch Aligner System part # HM50002 has good clarity and picture quality even when shadows are present. It won't be high definition like a tv but it will still show everything you need in enough detail to get the trailer coupled without issue. In heavy shadows, the area within the shadow will be dim but there should still be enough clarity to find the hitch ball.
