Should Truck and Trailer be Totally Straight When Connecting/Disconnecting Demco Hijacker AutoSlide

Question:

I have the ITEM # DM8550022 Demco auto slide. If I unhook with the autoslide about 45 degree angle, is there a way to straighten it out the hitch itself while unhitched from 5th wheel trailer? Sometimes I back up awkwardly and I want to straighten up the truck to re-hitch later.

Demco recommends hooking and unhooking from their Hijacker Autoslide fifth wheel hitches like the part # DM8550022 when totally straight so ideally if you could straighten up the truck with the trailer before disconnecting you'd be best off. As far as straightening up the head after it's disconnected you'd need something that could attach to the head with a decent amount of leverage as it's pretty difficult to manually reposition. Maybe two people in the bed of the truck pulling on the head could rotate it but that's not really a convenient way.
