Does the Curt C17123 and Equal-i-zer EQ44FR Weight Distribution Shanks Use Solid Or Hollow Shanks?

In my cart, I have Curt C17123 and EQ44FR hitch shanks. I want to know that both of these are solid steel and not tubing. I could not tell from the pictures or description.
