Can Air Bag Suspension be Used with Weight Distribution on 2020 Ford F-250
Question:
I have a 2020 - F250 Super Duty with Max Tow package. I tow a 38 ft. TT with a 1700 lbs. tongue weight. My WD Hitch is very capable of handling the weight as it is rated to 2100 lbs. But I was considering getting a Air Spring System to level the truck as there is still some sag even with the WD hitch. I have heard that it is not recommended using any suspension enhancement and a WDH at the same time. What are your thoughts about adding a air spring system and using a WD hitch towing a TT.

Yes you can use air suspension enhancement with weight distribution systems. The trick is that you will want to inflate the bags first before setting up the spring bar tension so in your case you'd have to reset up the weight distribution once you decide how much air pressure you are going to use. You'll end up using less spring bar tension.
Then for an air bag kit that fits your 2020 Ford F-250 you'd want the Firestone Ride Rite Kit part # F2600 which is a confirmed fit. We've found that the Firestone bags are the highest capacity which is why we recommend them the highest.
