We have two connector options for your third brake light on your 2007 Dodge Ram 1500 for your Leer Topper.

The first option is Spectro Wiring # 9653P. With this connector you simply cut it in 1/2 then hardwire both your sides and plug them in together.

The second option is the Draw-Tite Universal 4 Pole Adapter # 18032. This is the same basic installation with the exception being that these are individual connections versus the flat connector of the # 9653P.

My co-worker has a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 with a Leer Topper so we examined his set-up. He has his wires attached via bullet connectors. He said if he had it to do over again, he would have used the Spectro # 9653P. His hook-up method was the same principle of the aforementioned connectors.

In the picture attach you can see that the wires recess into a hole in the trucks bed frame above the taillight. The other picture is the wires under the bed frame which is the original OEM wiring that he used.

The wires he used were located under the truck by the spare tire. On his truck, the correct wire is the white one, however, the color of the wire may be different on your 2007 Ram.
