Recommended Air Bag System for a 2022 Ford F-350 for an In Bed Camper
Question:
I have an 2022 F-350 Super Duty, Crew Cab. 7.3 engine, long bed truck. I haul a 3,000 pound pickup camper. What air bag will fit this truck? Ive had fire stone bags on my old truck, worked fine. I had the one you had to use your air compressor. Thanks.

We have two options for Firestone air bag kits for your 2022 Ford F-350 depending on whether or not your truck has 2WD or 4WD. The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F2600 will fit the 2WD models. These have a 5,000 lbs weight capacity. The air bags reduce the strain on your rear suspension, increase safety, and compensate for uneven loads. They level your truck from front to back and adjust independently for side-to-side leveling of off-center loads. This will work well for balancing your in bed camper.
If your truck is a 4WD model you will want the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs item # F35FV. These have an identical capacity and function the same as the item # F2600 for 2WD trucks.
For an onboard compressor you will want the Firestone Air Command II item # F2219. This dual path compressor allows you to fill each air spring individually with different levels of PSI.
