Will B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver Fit 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 With Factory Hitch
Question:
I have a 2006 Chevy Silverado 1500 Extended Cab Long Bad and wonder if this will fit as a replacement for the factory one that is currently installed? I want to replace it as the Minnesota winters have really beat it up and the factory one is getting eaten alive. The points where it attaches to the frame of the truck still look solid though. Also does the replacement hitch come with all specs as far as torque on the installation bolts and complete installation instructions?

Yes, the B&W Heavy-Duty Trailer Hitch Receiver # BWHDRH25217 will fit as a replacement for your factory hitch as long as your 2006 Silverado 1500 has a standard factory bumper. The hitch will come with installation instructions that include the torque specs for the bolts.
