Recommend Towing Package For A 2012 Toyota Corolla L
Question:
Hello, I am looking to install hitch #11265 on my 2012 Toyota Corolla to pull a small utility trailer. Also, plan on using electric kit #55542 on same car. The Corolla is an L base model. Will these parts fit and work?

When it comes to installing a trailer hitch on your 2012 Toyota Corolla The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class I - 1-1/4 inch is confirmed to fit your L base model.
The trailer hitch has a bolt-on installation with no welding required and has a gloss black powder coat finish that is over a protective base coat that offers superior rust resistance. The hitch has a maxim gross trailer weight up to 2,000 pounds and has a maximum tongue weight up to 200 pounds. I recommend checking your vehicle's manual to know the proper weight capacity of your vehicle.
The T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118459 has a 4 flat connector that will make it to where your trailer's stop, turn and taillights mirror your vehicle's stop, turn, and taillights. This T-one connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness which is located inside your trunk, behind the tail lights on both the driver's side and passenger's side. You will need to remove some interior trim or carpeting to access the harness.
To finish your towing experience The Draw-Tite Drawbar for 1-1/4 inch Hitch - 2-1/8 inch Rise, 2-3/4 inch Drop - 6-5/8 inch Long - 2K # 3593 and The 2 inch Hitch Ball - 3/4 inch Diameter x 1-9/16 inch Long Shank - Chrome - 3,500 pounds # 19258 are needed to haul your small utility trailer.
I attached a few installation video links below.
