I have this same setup and I have a 2inch ball. Is there one with that size or one without the 2.5inch ball?

In order to use a 2" ball with the Replacement Weight Distribution Bolt-Together Round Bar Head # PS58442 you will need to remove the 2-5/16" ball that comes with it. There are no options without the ball or with a 2" ball. You can either use your existing 2" ball to replace it or get a new one like the # A-90.

Yes. The Replacement Weight Distribution Bolt-Together Round Bar Head #PS58442 will fit on your 49904 Reese Pro Series Weight Distribution system.

Unfortunately the kit they made to replace those has been discontinued and they have no stock of the old parts. You will need to purchase a new head #PS58442 to have a functional part because the clip will no longer hold that bar in place.

I do have an alternate solution for you, but unfortunately the Pro Series weight distribution systems were discontinued by Horizon Global (owner of Pro Series and Reese) and we do not have replacement spring bars available for your model 49904.…

After swapping weight distribution shanks you are now noticing more sway than before? Was the trailer not level when you setup the WD system initially with the old shank? If this is the case you'd want to reset up the system and go from there.
