We have a great solution available for you and yes, you can replace with a 15,000 Btu unit if you choose. Because the Carrier Air V RV Air Conditioner is no longer produced, I recommend using the Advent Air Replacement RV Air Conditioner for Carrier Setup, # ACCAR150 for 15,000 Btu's or # ACCAR135 for 13,5000 Btu's.

These options are designed as direct replacements for the Carrier air conditioner units. The included adapter wiring kit ensures that the AC works seamlessly with your existing, in-good-working-order Carrier air distribution box and thermostat. This new unit also has a start capacitor that helps jumpstart the AC when camp power or generator power isn't enough.
