Difference Between the Progressive Dynamics Converter # PD9180ALV and # PD9180A

Question:

I have a Gulfstream Class A motorhome and the Inverter is shorting out. You list a, Inteli-Power PD 9180 A as well as a 9180 ALV What is the difference and mine says PD 9180 only on it?

I went ahead and reached out to my tech at Progressive Dynamics with your question. The main difference between the two converters is that the # PD9180ALV is for lithium-specific batteries while the # PD9180A is only for lead acid/AGM batteries. Depending on what battery type you have, that is what replacement you need for your PD9180.
