On the Progressive Dynamics Mighty Mini AC/DC Panel and Converter/Smart Charger # PD4045KA you need to verify that the converter/charger is set to the appropriate battery type that it is charging. It is common for the converter to get warm and the fan should turn on to regulate the temperature of the converter. The humming may be the sound of the fan that you hear. It is a good idea to check the fan to ensure it is not damaged or covered in dust causing it to not cool properly.

The outlets are 120v and will be controlled by the circuit breakers and not the fuses. You will want to see if any of the circuit breakers in the panel are tripped. If tripped you can reset the breaker as something may have been plugged in that overloaded the circuit.

If the converter is damaged you can test this by verifying the output voltage at the converter. Output should be between 13.6-14.6 volts. A Replacement Converter Section # PD4045CSV
